Group Tours and Academic Outreach at Chowan University 

Chowan University welcomes group visits to tour and learn more about the university.

Through Academic Outreach opportunities, grade school students learn from first-rate faculty members on select topics from September to April.

To request a Group Visit and/or Academic Outreach Activity with Chowan University, please select the calendar option! If you have a specific date in mind that is not currently available, please reach out to us at enroll@chowan.edu. We look forward to working with your school or organization to make your visit as smooth as possible.

Below are some information to keep in mind before completing your request:

• Academic Outreach Group Visits are held from 10 AM- 1:30 PM.

• Maximum group sizes for Academic Outreach Activities (Admissions Presentation, Campus Tour, Lunch, and Academic Outreach Activity) are 25 students.

• Maximum group sizes for Group Visits ONLY (Admissions Presentation, Campus Tour, and Lunch) are 75 individuals, including chaperones.

• Academic Outreach Activities are only held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays during our academic year.

• Our tours are WALKING tours. If accommodations are necessary, please email us at admissions@chowan.edu, or list them below. Your information will remain confidential.

• We do not accept Group Visits on open house dates (CU Visit Day, Chowan Scholarship Day, and SOAR), or the day before these events in preparation for the event.
